Keramik-Institut Meißen offers a pilot plant with comprehensive equipment to carry out trials for nearly all of the ceramic process in semi-industrial state. So there can get experiences for solving problems in research and development and in industrial production too.The following list shows the equipment for each part of the ceramic technology.

usable volume 0,27 m³, dimensions inside the kiln 1,0 x 0,45 x 0,6 m, max. temperature 1600°C, min. firing time (cold-cold) 20 h, max. firing time 48 h, burner: infinite variable flash firing, oxidizing atmosphere and flashing is possible

electrically heated fast firing kiln, type HTM

firing temperature max. 1550°C, dimensions inside the kiln 0,5 x 0,4 x 0,1 m, min. firing time (cold-cold) 30 min

electrically heated chamber kiln, type SO 1093

firing temperature max. 1380°C, gas-tight, with external combustion system, rate for heating and cooling is free adjustable
